Ten Cardinal Tetras (2.5cm)
Cardinal Tetras are very popular aquarium fish that are happiest in a school. They are peaceful and attractive. Their striking blue, silver and red colouration make them a very popular fish. They are great in a peaceful community tank or featured in a large school.
Cardinals are similar to their cousins, Neon tetras. The difference between them lies mainly in the red stripe. In Cardinals, the red stripe runs all the way from nose to tail and in Neons, the colour extends from the middle of the body to the tail.Â
Cardinals are omnivores who enjoy Tropical Pellets, Tropical Flake or Micro Pellets. They can also be given Algae Wafers as a treat.Â
