Love the plants. They were all healthy. Quick delivery. I plan to order more soon. Thank you
I ordered $200 worth of plants and I must say I was very impressed by the quality of the plants and the way they were packsged. Every one of the plants were super healthy and exactly as described on the website. This was my first order and based on this order I will be a returning customer.
Had an issue with my order which was handled swiftly and hassle free. Highly recommended
Fantastic service and brilliant products. I will definitely be purchasing more.
I have a frog pond and I have put the plants in the ond so that the tadpoles have more places to hide. they arrived very promptly.
It was my first time buying plants online; the site was easy to navigate, delivery was quick, and the plants arrived well packaged, in good condition, reasonably priced, and without the nasty snails you get in a lot of shop-bought plants. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for plants.
This is a wonderful company! Easy to contact and quick to reply. The plants I purchased arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Great to deal with a customer focused business with such high standards. Recommended to anyone looking for exceptional service and quality.
Very helpful in choosing the right aquarium plant for me, the service was amazing and I highly recommend Scapeshop, the Anubias at $38 each were extremely large with a long root system and arrived over night, similar ones would be over $100 and they made the Tank look fantastic. Thank you.
Was initially happy with order when it arrived but after only having the live black worms for 2 weeks, despite keeping them as instructed, clean cool water, filtration, the whole lot have died. Found the entire colony dead this morning. Bit disappointing as i thought they would last a lot longer than that. $50 down the drain.
Highly recommend scapeshop. Great customer service great value, fast delivery and plants are very healthy. I have returned several times to buy more plants because I’m always happy with what I receive.
My first experience with Scapeshop has been absolutely 💯% I made an error in my order and made contact to alert them about a delivery charge they fix it and refunded the money instantly the product arrived in 2 days and was perfect can’t speak more highly. Have now placed an order for live fish with them, now that have confidence in the company. Thanks.
Great service & great products as always....wouldn't buy anywhere else. Thanks Julie.
Very happy with the Bucephalandra and Crypt plants I have bought at the Scapeshop. The service is prompt and the plants healthy with good root systems.
I am loving the new look of my tank all from The Fish Farm and Scapeshop my previous set up was Tropicals but decided to change to cold water,I now have a very happy active tank 😁delivery of my orders was super quick and everything seems so healthy ,just need some foreground plants now to finish it off.
I found this website to be wonderful with their aquatic plants. Their photo's do justice to the plants and look just as healthy upon receipt. I have found this to be very rare with other website when previously purchasing aquatic plants. I will definitely be shopping from here again. Thanks so much!!
Nice big healthy plants with roots. The stems were a bent on one driftwood creation but they stand upright in the water no problem.
Very happy with the whole experience and will certainly be back! Thanks Lisa!
I have purchased from Scapeshop for awhile now, and living in Bundaberg region, have always received quality plants for my aquarium. I have one issue with my large angel fish is they love chewing on them, but I suppose that's there salad .
Frequently Asked Question
What is an Anubias plant?
Anubias is a hardy, slow-growing freshwater aquarium plant native to West and Central Africa. Anubias plants have thick, dark green leaves and a creeping rhizome that should be tied to driftwood or rock instead of buried. They tolerate low light and a wide range of water parameters.
Are Anubias plants easy to grow?
Yes, Anubias plants are among the easiest aquarium plants to grow. They thrive in low to medium light, do not require CO2 and accept most water parameters. The main rule is never bury the rhizome — attach Anubias to driftwood or rock so the rhizome stays exposed and healthy.
How do you plant Anubias in an aquarium?
To plant Anubias, attach the rhizome to driftwood, rock or decor using cotton thread, fishing line or aquarium-safe super glue gel. Never bury the rhizome in substrate or it will rot. The roots can sit in substrate, but the rhizome must remain above gravel or sand.
Do Anubias plants need CO2?
Anubias plants do not need CO2 to grow. They are low-tech, slow-growing plants that thrive without injected CO2 or special fertilisers. Adding liquid fertiliser and gentle CO2 will speed growth and produce richer green leaves, but Anubias remains healthy in basic, beginner aquarium setups.
How much light do Anubias plants need?
Anubias plants prefer low to medium light, around 6–8 hours daily. Strong light can cause algae to grow on their slow, durable leaves. Place Anubias under taller plants or driftwood for shade. Low light keeps Anubias leaves clean, dark green and free of algae spots.
What is the difference between Anubias Nana and Anubias Petite?
Anubias Nana and Anubias Petite are both compact Anubias plants. Anubias Nana grows to about 10–15 cm tall with leaves around 5 cm. Anubias Petite (Nana Petite) is a true dwarf, reaching only 3–5 cm tall with tiny leaves, ideal for nano aquariums and foreground placement.
Why are my Anubias plant leaves turning yellow?
Anubias leaves turn yellow due to old age, nutrient deficiency or too much light. Trim yellow leaves at the rhizome to encourage new growth. Add a liquid fertiliser with iron and potassium, reduce direct lighting and check that the Anubias rhizome is not buried in substrate.
