Giant Vallisneria Bunch

General Description: Giant Vallisneria is an impressive  aquarium plant. The long, wide, green and brown leaves move gracefully in a current creating a lovely, natural, river-bed effect in an aquarium. The leaves can grow to 50-150cm and be 2 cm wide.

Giant Val is an excellent, hardy plant that is perfect as a backdrop, screening plant or filler. Giant Vallisneria can be trimmed if desired. 

The outer leaves of Vallisneria species may be brown. When vallisneria (val) is planted in a new environment it grows new roots and new leaves from the centre of each plant. the outer leaves power the new growth and can be removed once the plant is established. The top of each leaf can be trimmed if desired. They may contain snails or eggs.
