Indian Almond Leaves can be useful to naturally lower water pH levels. They release beneficial Tannic Acid and Tannins which may help to replicate the natural environment of various tropical fish.

They have traditionally been used to promote health in soft water fish and shrimp. They may be beneficial for shrimp and fish fry. The leaves have antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic properties. May help to induce breeding and spawning.
