Hairgrass Vase Urn

Hairgrass is one of those plants that is super cute when growing in our greenhouses. Something about a perfectly, green miniature lawn at bench height is irresistible.

Pop one of these vase-fulls of mini grasssy-bushes in a tank & you have a very eye catching feature.

Scientific name: Eleocharis acicularis, Eleocharis parvula
Trade name: Hairgrass
Difficulty: Low

A staple plant for covering the bottom of your aquarium, and for the foreground. Fast-growing and easy to keep alive.

Fantastic feature

Hair grass is a beautiful addition to a tank, it billows gently in the water flow and looks like a miniature garden feature. I have the pot in a temporary tank with no plants - it seemed to instantly improve the stress levels of the fish and made the tank so much more attractive. Love the pots range.
